Neelavara Temple

Last week I visited the 'Mahisha Mardini Temple of Neelavara' for a family function. This temple is usually crowded during the last of monsoon season. 'Neelavara' means surronded by water. The river Seetha flows by this temple. It was total calm and peaceful here. Sharing few pics.

    1. It's approximately 20 Kms from Udupi, Coastal Karnataka. Temple opens around 8 in the morning and about 12:30 or something there is maha aarati . This aarthi is famous and people often visit for this maha pooja. Evening I think it closes around 8:30
