In India, it's the time for the Mango fruit tree to produce beautiful off white to pale yellow blooms. The mango tree in my backyard garden is no exception. I am waiting eagerly for the spring to arrive to see them developing into tiny tender mangoes.
I've never seen mango in progress - thanks for sharing it. Pretty flowers, aren't they?

Brings back memories of eagerly waiting for mango season in April from my childhood days in Bangladesh :-)
ReplyDeleteI love mangoes. I would love to have a tree like that.
ReplyDeleteIn our part of the country (Punjab), we'll have mango buds around April. You have that early variety, which becomes available in our markets much before local produce.
ReplyDeleteWow! I am waiting for Spring too, but flowers are far away....
ReplyDeleteYou show this, my mouth waters. I love mango, both the green and the ripe one.

We have some neighbors who came from India. They have a mango tree in their yard and always generously share some of the fruit with us - so good!
ReplyDeleteAaahh.. Look what you reminded me of... MANGOES!! It's been years that I had some nice and flavorful mangoes.
ReplyDeleteWish you a Mango-licious summer!
